Welcome to my first post at Pheasant House! I’m just starting to document our journey of turning our house into a home, but I thought there may be some people out there on a similar path who could find something useful here.
I did an Ikigai years ago to help me find my life’s calling and the results were “Community”, “Storytelling”, and “Efficiency”. I had no idea what that meant at the time, and I’m still not sure, tbh. Maybe something that starts here will lead me there.
My family and I moved into our house on December 27, 2023. Some days I’m so pleased with what we’ve done so far, and other days I’m overwhelmed with all there’s left to do. Every day, I’m brimming with ideas of how to get it all done.
My dream for my family is to have a beautiful, comfortable home we’re proud of. So far, we have a house with great potential and a few cozy corners. That’s good enough for now. I’m still working towards my dream. If you are too, then I’ll share my findings with you. I hope we can get to our dream home together.
